Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

my boyfriend two years ago used to beat me. Now he is hanging around my place of businesss and trying to approach me. Can I file for a restraining order based on this story?

Yes. You can file a domestic violence complaint with the Family Part of the Superior Court of

New Jersey in the county courthouse where you live. I am assuming that the acts of violence and your present business were/are located in the county where you reside.
