Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Brother-in-law placed drugs in boyfriend's room
My brother-in law, who is 51 and
spent 20+ years in prison for
murder, has been stealing from us,
placing his parent's medication in
places where Jake (my boyfriend),
would be indicated in the crime. I
have a journal full of incidents such
as these. Yesterday, Gary called the
police to report that Jake had his
mother's medication in his room, and
told the officer where the medication
was. Obviously, Gary placed it there
to get Jake arrested. It worked. I
bailed him out, but now he has a
court case in the near future. Jake
may go to prison for something he
didn't do. I have, in the past, written
letters to Gary's parole officer telling
them about his actions, how he
steals things, stays out way past
curfew, and associates with known
felons. Everyone is afraid to confront
Gary-he is known to go into a rage
and no one knows what he may do.
He has murdered at least once out of
rage. Nothing was ever done by the
parole board, and honestly, we have
no proof. Please help. Thank you so
much.
