Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
I was charged with misdeamor marijuana charge in NJ. While at court my public defender said I either take a conditional discharge or take it to trial and that there We're no other choices, now doing research I am finding out that I should have had the option to have a fine payment instead. What should I do about this now? I do not want to be on this conditional discharge and I feel that my public defender should have given me more information and options. How should I go about correcting this issue?
