Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
I am being charged with violation NJS 20-3A the company I worked for policy state to ask for ID only if purchase is more than $500.00 and the purchase was less than that amount and the credit card turned out to be fake I didn't know it. What should I do?

I don't understand how you could not know the credit card you were using was fake. Nevertheless you are charged with a theft offense and are facing heavy fines, possible jail time, and having a criminal record if you are convicted. You should hire an attorney to help you straighten this whole mess out for you as best as possible. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail.
