Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
expungement
i was convicted of burglary 14 yrs ago when i was 19. I have had nothing on my record since then and i want to change careers and enter the teaching profession, however, i do not want to spend 1000$ to have this done. I have studied some law classes in college and i feel that its only paperwork and gathering up the records from my arrest. I do have half a brain so is this something i can do on my own? and where could i find the necessary info on the steps needed to achieve this?

Re: expungement
If you want to do it on your own, I think the New Jersey Judiciary has the forms on their site. However, it will not be easy at all and I would strongly suggest getting an attorney. Mr. Moore charges less than I do, so I suggest giving him a call. It'll be well worth the money to pay him to do it than the hassle for you to do it on your own,
