Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

My fiance had to call an ambulance because he was extremely ill at work in NJ. When the ambulance arrived the attending police officer asked him for his identification and a warrant that he had no knowledge of from GA surfaced. He was subsequently arrested in the ER and was also refused medical treatment at HUMC. He has been in jail since 12/08/09 and has still not had an extradition hearing. During this time a charge for fleeing the navy was added to his jail identification; however he is not being charged with it because it has been proven in a previous case that while this other gentleman shares his name he is in fact not the same person. As a result of this additonal "charge" he has been moved to maximum security section of Bergen County Jail. What can we do?
