Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Is it possible to handle a criminal matter from overseas, meaning I cant make it to court, in fact I was not able to make it cause I couldnt get back in the country, I have one but I dont have a VISA, so I can enter the country, My girlfriend is a resident of the US, soon to be a citizen. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you are charged with a minor drug offense and it is your first offense the matter can probably be handled by your laawyer without your coming to court. It is a matter of what the charge is.
