Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Hi,
I was pulled over after running a red light. My license was lost a while ago, but either way it was suspended. I made the stupid decision to show the officer my brothers license, which was expired. Long story short, I went to jail for the night because I had a warrant for my arrest, and I am being charged 2C:29-3B(4) (Hindering Identification) or something like that. Please, give me your advice on what I should do.

You be guilty of the offense charged you must have volunteered the information. Giving false information inresponse to the officer's question does not make you guilty of the offense charged. You need to hire an attorney. Call me if you like.
