Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

My husband and i have been seperated for about 6 months now and i still have our state income tax return check. If i signed his name and got caught what would the penalty be.

Depends on many factors. Prison, jail, probation and fines are the options. Much depends on your record or lack thereof. Its not worth the stress. Handle this the right way.
