Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Insufficent information given on charges

I recieved 3 traffic tickets and 1 minor criminal charge. When i was released from the station i wasnt given any info or paper work on my charge or tickets. So when i got a change of court date in the mail i assumed it was for everything when it was only for the criminal charge. Now i have a warrant because i had no idea what i was chared with and am afraid to go to court and get arrested for something i misinformed on. Is there anything i can do without having to hire an attorney?

I see no reason why you shouldn't get an attorney. The court will likely order you to get one at some point since you are facing criminal charges.

You can call the court and explain to the court clerk what happened to you. She may give you a solution.

Your question shows that you have no idea of what you are doing with your case. Remember, once you are screwed by your own lack of knowledge you are likely to stay screwed. CALL AN ATTORNEY.
