Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Last month my car was being egged repeatedly for two weeks over by my boyfriend's residence. The first week I went to the police station and filed a report, and the second week took it into my own hands to watch my car and saw the car egging my car which I got a partial license plate, a description of the car, and made a second police report. In the beginning I didn't know who it could be because I don't live in that area and I don't have many known enemies, but recently it came to my attention that a girl was the one that was egging my car. I did a little detective work on my own, found her address went past her house, and saw the car that matched the description and matched the partial license plate number that I had seen. What legal actions can I now take against this person?

If you are reasonably certain that it is she who is egging the car, you can file a criminal complaint for harassment with the police department in the town where the egging occurred.
