Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
I received a letter letting me know I've ebing investigated for bank fraud title 18 section 1344 of the US Code in the state of Pennsylvania. I reside in NJ and the only transaction I had inthat stsate was the purchase of an investment property to be rented, property I lost in a recent bankruptcy after my tenants failed to pay the mortgage.
What should I do?

Please go see a lawyer right away. Just based on what you wrote, no attorney can tell you what is going on, but it could be a huge problem and you must find out what is going on right now.

Be careful. It might be some sort of fraudulent internet scam. I would suggest that you have an attorney make an inquiry as to whether the letter is real. Call me if you like.
