Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
i was wondering what i most likely can get for a simple assault charge on my wife, i have no prior assault charges except a disorderly persons and burglary and criminal mischief and am currently on PTI in the state of NJ

You don't have much of a choice but to get a complete dismissal. If you get convicted of anything, you will likely violate your PTI and then that case will start back up again. As a result, you will likely end up with a felony conviction. You should call a lawyer ASAP. Call me at 1-855-9-JEFLAW to discuss. I have a few ways I can work to get this dismissed.
