Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey
price of a good dwi attorney
I am shopping around for a good attorney who can practice in NJ for a recent DWI charge. Money is certainly an issue, so when I found an attorney willing to represent me for $1,500 I was thrilled. However, qualifications are also important. Can you honestly fight a case like this for that little money or should I go with a more expensive, more experienced lawyer. Anyone know how much Evan Levow charges?
Thanks.

No idea how much Levow charges, but from everything I know about him, he is a great attorney. Just give him a call and set up an appointment.
In my opinion, $1500 is way too low. I would charge your more than double that without knowing any more information about your case. Unless you are going to pay good money for a good attorney, I think you are better off with a public defender.
Feel free to call me to discuss your case further.
Re: price of a good dwi attorney
If you are not going to do it right you might as well plead guilty. A reasonable fee for dwi is $3,500.00 and an expert's testimony is essential, perhaps another $1,500.00.
