Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
I have a 19Yr Old Adult Daughter who is soon to be 20 and was alienated from me by tactics of her custodial mother throughout my daughter's upbringing. I have not spoken to my daughter since 16, because of her disrespect towards me as her father. I just learned that she graduated HS in June 2012 and might also be working as well. My daughter is not the college type and I do not believe that she has plans on going to college. I was not aware that my daughter was still in HS, so I filed for emancipation when she was 18 and was denied. However, the custodial parent never opposed the motion. NJ State is one of the only states that does not have an emancipation law; I was denied on "The Sphere Of Influence" case law. How can I get emancipation and or constructive emancipation in the situation I have with my adult daughter? This is draining

I have dealt with this. You will have to do some investigating, and then file the motion to emancipate.
You need a lawyer to sit down with you and give you some advice.
I can explain things in detail in person after we talk. I will explain what legal issues I see, and what I can do to assist you. I will also give you my best estimate of the cost for attorney's fees.
This will be a free consultation. After we talk, you can decide what you would like to do.
Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and let's get moving on this for you. No charge for the telephone call and no charge for the first office visit.
