Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Alimony

When computing the amount of alimony that I would pay my spouse, I did not figure in what my employer takes out of my pay for my pension. This is a substantial amount. Now, between her salary and the alimony I pay, she takes home a hundreds more than I do. I have been divorced less than a year. Am I eligible for some relief?

Re: Alimony

I would need to see everything, but its hard to say to a court that you screwed up so that you should now be entitled to some relief. If you didn't have an attorney, that is what happens. If you did, you really have to complain to him or her.
