Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My now ex boyfriend and I book a $1,150.89 vacation. We were suppose to go half I have text messages saying he would sign and pay anything so he doesn't have to go. Can I take him to small claims court for half the trip or atleast air fair, I can't change his name on the ticket and its non refundable.

You can take him to Small Claims Court. But I think your real question is whether or not you will be successful. That is up to the Judge. Based on what you have indicated, you appear to have proof, by text, that he would pay you. This is evidence that may convince the Judge to give you a judgment.
