Are there any cases on record where a final restraining order was either dismissed and/or modified due to having ineffective counsel?

You might be able to have the matter retried based on ineffective assistance of counsel on the

theory that, although a domestic violence action is civil in nature, a finding of domestic violence

requires the determination that one of certain enumerated criminal offenses was committed.
