Re: Child custody

This question comes up a lot on here and there is no definte answer. It will depend on the Judge, but 14 years old is an age where a lot of judges will allow them to control the custody situation.

If the child is younger, you will likely need more facts to back up their desire to change custody. If they are older than 14, you will need evidence to overcome that desire.

This should not be an expensive process and it could probably only help to have an attorney with you. My consultations are always free, so if you call me at 732/247/3340 and we can discuss your case. I'll let you know what options you have and if it will be worth it for you to get an attorney.

Good luck!
