Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
custody
I just lost custody of my 14 year old daughter due to her wanting to live with her dad. I told the judge as so did theropist that if she was to live with him I will never see her again. I have not spoken or seen my daughter in over two months. I have three other children suffering because they miss their sister. Not only them but my ex alientated himself from his own family, who by the way testified that my ex and his wife have been brainwashing her for years. My ex was very abusive during our 7 years of marriage. The judge found it crediable that a gun was used but said that was over ten years ago. My ex's name was in the paper all during this trail as the new chief of police in that county. how do I get some kind of arrangement to have my children see my daughter. My ex has not even seen our 12 year old son in over six years. The judge said for me not to take it personnaly that I am a good mom the child just wants to live with her dad. Now I have no contact with her. The day she left she told me she loved me and now she wont even speak to me. my yheropist seems to think it is stockholm syndrome

Re: custody
A motion has to be filed to compel some visitation for the reason that you have given.

Re: custody
I don't really see a question, but I'd like to know if you had an attorney. I would suggest you appeal it but you have to act fast, i.e. 45 days. Furthermore, wasn't visitation granted? If it was and it is not being followed then you need to file a motion for contempt.
