Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Re: Deposition

I am currently representing myself "pro se" in a divorce proceeding due to my dire financial condition. I have declared bankruptcy, my home is in foreclosure, and I recently lost my job. I am also involved in fee arbitration with my former attorney. My estranged wife's attorney has subpoenaed my employment records and has scheduled my former boss for deposition. All former efforts for mediation have been rejected. Obviously, she has access to unlimited funds to pursue this. What are my options? What do you suggest I do?

You can apply to the court for an order requiring your wife to contribute to your legal fees, inasmuch as you are without funds and she obviously is not.

I agree with the other two attorneys. You are almost out of options here. Good luck.
