Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My husband's ex is filing for attorney fees. She trying to include my income as well as my husbands as his ability to pay. Can the courts include my income for this purpose. I should also mention we have a child together that was born this year that has not been part of of any calculations for support we are waiting to go back to court. Also we have another child on the way. In you opinion will the court allow this?

The court can and will allow anything unless you argue against it. That can be difficult to do if you do not have a good attorney on your side. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

Let me ask a basic question: why is your husband not asking HIS attorney to answer this question? If he does not have a lawyer, make him get one. If he does have a lawyer, and the lawyer does not answer the question clearly and immediately, FIRE THE LAWYER and get another lawyer who will respond.

You are not in my area. I am not trying to get you to call me, just trying to help you out.

Good luck. This is one of the nastier kinds of problems.
