Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Joint Custody-Medical Care

My ex-husband and I have joing legal custody of my son. My son's primary residence is with me and I carry full medical benefits. Are there any possible repercussions of my ex-husband bringing my son to an emergency room for an examination without my knowledge?

If it is an emergency, does he really have time to ask you first? He should tell you as soon as possible though.

It really depends on the reason for the visit. If was an emergency, or he thought it was, he had an obligation to seek the proper case.
