No promise as to child custody is binding forever, but you and he could enter into a property
settlement agreement which would settle this question.
Call me if you like.
If he agrees to give full custody to you, then you should have a lawyer write up an agreement and have you and him both sign it and have your signatures notarized. Then you can get a divorce, and ask that the Judge include your agreement in the divorce judgment.
You should talk to a lawyer. This is too important to try to do on your own.
Give me a call if you would like to talk it over. The telephone discussion will be free of charge, and I will let you know what I believe I can do to assist you further. My contact information can be obtained from the links below, just click on the Attorney Profile link. Let my secretary know you found me through LawGuru.

In this situation if he is willing to sign a paper giving you custody, then you should enter into a Consent Order and provide it to the Court. If you are unsure of how to go about this or need a lawyer to draft it, (which I recommend), give me a call 732-247-3340
