Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
past due medical/rx-unilatelly stopping support for child
My ex husband is ordered to pay back all past due medical/rx within 5 days of receipt...He has not paid me back in 6 months, as well as cutting off my 22 yr old daughter who is a full time graduate student...all on his own, without a legal change in our agreement. He left his firm he worked for and was a partner in for 25 years, moved to another firm, and still, has not repaid any past due amounts, totaling over four thousand dollars. I want to garnish his wages, through probation(we have payments now through the state, however, I wish to add outstanding balance owed to probation if possible. He told me that if this new firm finds out that i wish to garnish his wages, he will leave his job and take a job making a substantial amount less. The only recourse I have is to go pro se as I do not have the funds to retain my prior divorce attorney. Do I not have the ''right to enforce''? How difficult is it to go pro se. We have four children together and the more he owes me financially, the more difficult it is to pay all of my bills and take care of my family.

Ask the Court to put him in jail until he pays you what he owes you and then have him placed on two week warrant status.
Call me if you like.
