Has been long times ago, we're not married, she eight year older than me,she want bady but i don't, after three month living together she told me one day pregnant. after that i move out of state never back than, that many years never hear from them until a kid 18. i recevied two legal letter from state,one in certificate but i return that one, ask me going to the court at NJ, but i didn't, now ask me pay for child support until a kid 20. they don't have my DNA or anything approve this is my kid. i don't received any court order either from a judge ask me paid some amount money? a letter alway said they received order you have to paid this and that. i living different state now.do they can use child support enforement made me paid for.

You are correct about the necessity of proving your are the father. You are entitled to a dna test. The test is expensive and if you believe it is your child it might be a waste of money.

You support obligation begins when the support order is entered against you.

There is also the question of whether the child is dependent upon her mother's support entitling the mother to the payment of child support. If the child works full time and does not attend school she will be deemed to be emancipated and not legally entitled to child support.
