Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

property separation

I've been married in name only for 23 years. My husband and i may have lived for the first year of marriage. I purchased 3 properties over a 24 year period on my own. We have never lived together any of this period. is he intitled to half. And since i'm not working am i entitled to have him pay for my medical insurance. He is filing for divorce through the divorce center in our area.

Thanks

Re: property separation

He gets nothing and you get nothing. If you own three properties you need the protection of having an attorney for the divorce. Having rights is one thing; protecting and benefitting from those rights requires more than thoughtful meditation while lying on the couch.
