Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

Civil suit in New Brunswick

I was at a bowling alley one night last August 07 and when I came outside my car was gone from the parking lot. The police said they took my damaged car because it was involved in a hit & run. They accused my husband since he is the only person that left the bowling alley to get a cigarette from my car to smoke. He was gone for only 10 mins and returned gave me my keys and we bowled. He has no license and said he did not drive my car anywhere. Now I'm left in the dark since I never left until we finished bowling. I have police who were not there saying my husband did it and I have my husband saying he did not. Now my insurance company is taking me to court to cancel my insurance the the other cars insurance company is taking me to court for the cost of car repair. I'm still going to trial for a ticket from the police of giving my keys to a suspended driver. I only gave my keys to get something out of my car but that is a different case. Police said they have a witness but I have been to court 6 times and no witness on their side plus they keep postponing. Now I have to also deal with the Civil case with the insurance companies. what should I do? Attorneys cost too much money to help me with Civil court.

Well it is obvious you are getting nowhere without an attorney. I can't imagine that there are any magic words that someone on this board can say that will help you. I suggest you do everything you can to hire one, at least for the traffic case and then try to use that to win the civil case.
