Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

We had a law suit and out attorney received the check from the insurance company back in October of 2010. When have heard from our attorney for 4 months. We contacted him and he gave us all kinds of excuses. One was that he sent our check in November of 2010 and another excuse was that he would send out another check within a week from the last phone call which was in March of 2010. Still no check. What can we do?
