my boyfriend has been in the country illeally for 10 years. he came from niguraga. he wants to get a green card and a social security card so he can finally be legal and marry me please help

In order to apply for a green card, a foreign citizen has to be eligible for permanent residency in USA. What is his eligibility ground? Having been in the USA illegally for 10 years, by itself, doesn't afford him right to apply for a green card (permanent residency) and a SSN. Are you are US citizen?
