Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

HI

I have immigration question.

I came to the USA 8 years ago,the court granted me withholding of removal about 5 years ago. i got married with US citizen 2 months ago so i would like to know witch way should i file my green card papers????? and if is any chance to be denied becouse of this status?!?!?

If you are married to a USA citizen now and came to USA on a visa, were granted withholding of removal a few years ago -- you might be eligible to apply for a green card through a process called adjustment of status.

I would need more information regarding your particular case before I can comment on it properly.

However, I can say is that the immigration service will go back and look at your file when you petition for your green card.

Like everyone else who petitions for a green card you will have to fill out the relevant forms and send it in with the filing fee.

Moreover, when someone files for a green card the decision is immigration' s as to whether your application will be denied. I cannot predict what will happen.
