Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey
hi I would like to know if my husband can come back to the United states. He got deported to dominincan republic for having drugs. what are my changes
1 Answer from Attorneys
If he was deported for a drug related offence, chances are that he is considered an aggravated felon and is permanently banned (inadmissible to USA). An exception is one offence possession of marijuana under 30gr. If you are in doubt, you should consult a knowledgeable immigration attorney about your husband's chances to ever be allowed to come back to the United States.
