Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

immigration petition question

Hi. I filed a petition on my two sons who weren't able to migrate with us to US due to over age. I filed the petition on Mar 24, 1997. Now that the petition got approved, one of my son is now married with children. They are philippine citizens. What can I do in this situation? Will my son still get a visa granted now that he's married? or do I need to reapply for him which will include his wife and kids but takes many years?

Re: immigration petition question

If you are a citizen you can apply for them. Unfortunately, him and his family will take longer because of the new filing. However, you may want to see if your son is eligible for a temporary visa to come to the US to work while your application is processing.
