Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

not allowed to leave when sick at work

I live in New Jersey and I was wondering if an employer can tell you that you can't leave work when you are sick and you have personal time. Or make you stay till they are ready to let you leave.

Re: not allowed to leave when sick at work

No employer in any state can force a sick employee to remain at work and deprive the employee of medical care regardless of sick time availability.
