Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey
I have recently found out I have an autoimmune disease that is considered a disability. I am able to work my doctor has recently put a restriction on me because working more than a 10 hour day and more than 5 days a week is difficult for me. I recently spoke to my HR manager about another issue (my boss basically accused me of being racist) and was to I'd have to get her ok on the restriction due to the need to have open availability as a manager. Now I can work any day, any time, but I can't exceed a normal work day so I don't see the problem. Can they fire me because of this?
