Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

I need to have my roomate evicted

I am living with someone who willl not pay half of the rent. A month ago a notice of eviction was served. I have paid my half the entire time I have lived here & can pay the rent all on my own. How can I get this person out of my house legally?

You will need to file an ejectment action and even that is not guranteed.
