Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Jersey

Botched Labiaplasty

I had the surgery done 01/31/07. The doctor did a bad job. revomed too much and left me scarred. I dont have any sensation. I feel violated and assaulted. The doctor practically amputated my labia which used to be very long. There was no need to take off that much. I just want to find out if i can sue this horrible doctor and get some justice...by the way i am only 19 and at the time of surgery 18....Why would anyone do this to me? Is there a case?

Re: Botched Labiaplasty

This is a very interesting case. Elective labial surgery to reduce the size of vaginal lips is a relatively new procedure and unlike breast procedures is relativly unknown to the public(except those people who watch doctor 90210 or nip and tuck). The 2 questions I would need to find out I'd whether your doctor was negligent and if so be how much would this case be worth in front of a jury. This depends on who you are and who your jury would be.as far as your doctor's negligence you would need another doc to say that the doc is negligent.
