Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Jersey

medical malpractice?

Hi, my wife wears contact lenses. Today she found out that she had been misdiagnosed with the wrong prescription in both eyes for several years. The eye doctor asked if she had been receiving headaches -- she has, for several years not knowing that this was the cause. The original doctor who misdiagnosed subsequently prescribed the wrong lenses works with Walmart eyecare center. Is this ground for legal action? Please advise. Thank you, Steve.

What are your wife's permanent injuries? Is her eye sight permanently altered by the wrong prescription? When was your wife's last appointment with Walmart Optical concerning her eyesight?
