Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

I just filed a lawsuit against my next door neighbors because I slipped, fell, and broke my ankle on their property (due to icy steps.) Should I be afraid they or another neighbor that may side with them will retaliate against me?

If you are currently represented by an attorney, I would recommend that you address this concern with your attorney. However, I don�t anticipate that you would get any retaliatory action against you, though you should always recognize the possibility that suing someone is not always the best way to maintain cordial relationships
