Currently there is Time Warner Cable. Some residents have Dishes. The Association wants to at Dish Networks expense to have dishes put on buildings. If thje customer wants it they call Dish Network and they are billed individually,

my question is if I want Direct TV can they stop me as they will offer it already?

No doubt your ownership interest in your condo is subject to the rules of a condominium association. To find out which rules, you should refer to your deed or to the restrictions that would have been found in the title search that you had performed when you bought. Check these rules to see what they say.

If the association itself is violating its own rules, there is a possiblity that you could challenge the applicability of a rule to you. If you do that, you should expect a fight.
