safety deposit

My landlord has deducted a big part of my security deposit for replacing the refrigerator and the stove in my apartment saying that they were too unclean.

Re: safety deposit

pursuant to NJ law your landlord must give you a detailed list of damage to the apartment with in 30 days of you moving. If your landlord did this, he is acting pursaunt to NJ state law. If you disagree with his assesment, you can take him to small claims court.
