Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New Jersey

I really need your advice

I am 20 years old now, happily married and about 4 years ago I was raped. I was 16 at the time. I didnt go to the police because I was afraid to at the time. My friends came and picked me up and they seen how i was. Now that I am much older and wiser, I regret not going to the police. 4 years later, I feel if I did try to bring him to justice, It would be too late and i'd be left mortified again. Please give me some advice on what I should do. Try to let it go regretting it all my life, or give it a shot and see if he can br brought to justice....

There is no statute of limitations. Go to the police and report this. The law recognizes that victims often delay reporting for various reasons.
