Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
At 11:30 at night I was pulling out of a fair grounds "parking lot" (wet grass) my truck spun out one when I didn't let off the gas on a turn. It ended up spinning around twice before I could bring it to a stop (I've only had a license for a year I don't know how to react when that happens). I received 2 summons for reckless driving and destruction of recreational property. In new jersey this adds up to 7 points. I've never even been stopped by a cop before this. I have a mandatory court appearance next week. Will I loose my license? Can I go to jail? How can I get points taken off?

You should definitely have a lawyer--you have too much to lose--Chances are the points can be negotiated down or the tickets downgraded. The court appearance can be postponed....

It seems that the charges are a bit exaggerated and should be reduced. I am in Hackensack and am willing to represent you and go to court for you.
Call me if you like.
there is a strong chance that you will not loose your License and you will not go to jail. You just want to get the points reduced so that you will not be assessed surcharges by the D M V. It would certainly help to have the assistance of an experienced Municipal Court attorney to help in explaining the situation to the prosecutor and negotiating a plea that helps reduce the points. Please feel free to call with any questions, I have been handling these kinds of cases for twenty years and would be happy to assist you in making a determination if you wish to use the assistance of an attorney. If you have no other points on your license you may well be able to avoid a suspension. I never charge to merely speak to someone about their case. (201)-894-9498
