Re: can a off duty officer issues a ticket at later date?
Yes, it is legal. However, you don't say what the tickets were for or why the officer actually stopped you. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts in New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case in more detail. Please call me at 908-272-0111. There is never any charge for simply discussing a case with me. Thank you.
