Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
name mispelling
My last name was misspelled on the ticket. I've heard that the error can get me out of paying the ticket. Is this true? Also it said I have a NJ license when I actually have a NY license.

Greetings-
A minor technical error (mispelling) will not void the ticket.

Re: name mispelling
Misspelling counts only if your name is Ralph Jones and the name written is Sally Stuart. Close is good enough and the summons was handed to you personally.
Call me if you like, Monday.
