patrolcar headlights
If you get pulled over at night for speeding, can you argue in court that the patrolcar's headlights were turned off?
Someone told me that the patrolcar's headlights must be turned on to make it count. Is that true?

I have never heard of that defense before. In NJ, in order to determine if someone is speeding, the officer would provide the results of his speed gun, documents about the working condition of the gun and if the officer was certified to used the device.
If these documents are no valid, you may have a good chance dismissing the charges.

That is the first I have heard of that one. Not a defense under the law.
