Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
I was followed by a police officer in National Park into West Deptford N.J. I did not committ any traffic violations while in National Park. While the police officer was still behind me in West deptford he pulled me over for a violation he observed in West Deptford and issued me a ticket to National Park. I did not do any thing in National park illegally, other than to drive thru the town. Can they write me a ticket seen and written in West deptford to the municipal of National Park.

The ticket should relate to the town where the officer alleges that he saw the violation. He may believe that you committed the offense in the other town. Is what you refer to as National Park part of West Depford? what were you alleged to have done wrong? please feel free to call to discuss. (201)-342-5030
