Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

I was suspended due to missed surcharge payments and was pulled over twice in 2 months for it. I was arrested friday for missed court appearances and bail was posted for both locations where the summons were from. I restarted my surcharge and now have to wait until I settle this in court inorder for the DMV to restore my license. Is there still hope for me to have those tickets ammended being that it was just due to missed surcharge payments? I live in NJ. I've been pulled over numoreous occasions for suspensions due to an unpaid parking ticket in my area where they hand them like like candy. And they have all been amended down due to me being able to restore my license prior to the court date. But these cases won't allow me this time to fix it prior to the court dates. What should I do and is there still hope for me?

Let me see if I understand this. You are repeatedly pulled over for driving on the suspended list. You get onto the suspended list for not making payments that you are supposed to be making, either surcharges or unpaid parking tickets. And you drive in spite of the fact that you clearly know you are on the suspended list. And you expect a prosecutor or a judge to have sympathy for this? If you are given any consideration whatsoever, you should consider it a gift. But understand, when you repeatedly do things that are wrong and that you clearly know are wrong, at some point, you cannot be surprised if you are not given any favorable consideration.

All of that being said, you should talk with a lawyer and hire him/her if you want to try to get any favorable results whatsoever. Good luck! Rob Gleaner

I may be able to help you in this situation if you can show that your surcharges are all paid up and you have paid the restoration fee for your driver's license. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for just talking to people about their case. Thank you.

You definately need the assistance of a lawyer, nothing is necessarily hopeless, but the situation as you have described it is one where you are continually flirting with trouble. Until your license is restored you should not drive period. Do you know if you have any actual convictions for Driving while suspended,? I believe like my colleagues that I can probably assist you, but I would need to clarify the info. Please feel free to contact me (201)-894-9498, I never charge a fee to discuss a case, best of luck.
