Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
traffic court
A truck was tailgating me and came close to forcing me off the raod I tried to file a complant against the person but all I had was the tag number of the truck I went to the police station they said if I could not Identify the driver there was nothing they could do it turns out hte driver was a police officer in his personal truck and now my sister has to go to court because I was driving her truck when this happened I am sure the officer can not Identify me because he was behind me but since he can run the tag number himself is there anything I can do to get this dismissed?

Re: traffic court
Sure you can, but I suggest you speak to an attorey first. My office is near you so feel free to give me a call.
Re: traffic court
Your sister needs an attorney. If he
issued the ticket to her he clearly has no idea of who the operator of the vehicle was.
Call me if you like.
