Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

Estate

What happens to the estate once all of the money has been taken out of the accounts? Can a person still sue an estate if all the money, houses, stocks, etc. have been liquidated and distributed to the beneficiaries? How long does a person to sue an estate once a will has been probated? Is there a time limit?

Re: Estate

Time limits (Statute of Limitations) depend upon the type of claim involved, as to which you have provided no information. You also do not state when the estate involved was closed and the assets distributed. Depending upon your claim, you may still have time to sue the estate and its representative, and its beneficiaries. More information is needed for a better reply.
